What is Covered:
The book is separated into seven sections, each covering one of the seven Modules of ECDL Core (Syllabus 5). The syllabus is covered with the use of Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 and Internet Explorer 8. In addition, the accompanying CD-ROM contains an eBook covering Module 2 with the use of Windows 7. The material is presented in a carefully designed and highly structured manner. The text contains numerous illustrations and screen shots, in order to present each topic as clearly as possible. ECDL instructors can teach, and ECDL candidates can prepare for their exam by linearly following the content within each Μodule. At the end of each section the book contains four sample exams, that readers may use to practice but also to assess their readiness for the ECDL exams. In addition to the files necessary for the sample exams, the accompanying CD-ROM contains a special edition of Testware, an on-line examination application with a database with 15 questions per module.
